No lippage, no rush work. The patio drains properly toward the garden edge, which matters more than people think. Crew cleaned up after themselves every day. We had Pavestead in to sort out our front drive last spring, and I'd definitely use them again. Jerry and his crew knew what they were on about — the gravel was laid properly, well compacted, and it's held up through a wet winter without rutting badly. The lads were tidy, showed up when they said they would, and got the job done without faffing about.
Why four stars instead of five? One thing: we weren't given much guidance on maintenance after they finished. A quick chat about how often to rake it or top it up would've been helpful. That's a minor point though. The work itself is solid, they're reliable, and prices are fair for the area. I'd bring them back on without hesitation for anything else round the house. Having had previous bad experiences with contractors who overestimate timelines and underdeliver on finish quality, I approached Pavestead with cautious optimism. What struck me most was how the resin itself transformed the entire character of our property; it's seamless, glossy without being slippery, and the charcoal flecks catch the light in a way that photographs genuinely cannot capture. The crew—Jerry and his team—worked methodically through the process; they explained each stage without being condescending, and they managed the site with genuine care for the surrounding garden. Six weeks on, the surface has held up beautifully through rain and the inevitable Tipperary weather; no cracking, no discolouration, no lifting at the edges. It's a functional surface, yes, but it's also become something we actually enjoy looking at from the kitchen window. The maintenance has been effortless; a sweep and occasional rinse is all it requires.
